Shalom Circle

"And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick" - Luke 9:2

In Hebrew shalom is both a greeting and farewell blessing. To wish someone shalom, is to want them to have an inner sense of completeness. Shalom encompasses inner peace, individual wholeness, and overall wellbeing.

Many health care workers are in need of shalom in their lives. We can easily get out of balance neglecting our own physical, spiritual, emotional, and relational needs. Or we may struggle to integrate our faith into our work in meaningful ways.

Shalom Circles are small groups of brothers and sisters who meet regularly via video conference to explore the integration of their personal, professional, and spiritual lives. Modeled after Learn and Discern, the Shalom Circle was created to provide professional fellowship and a safe place for health care workers to encourage and equip each other to live missionally in their everyday jobs.
