Good Vision Farm Missionary: Haiti Dairy Program - Torbeck, Haiti As the Dairy program continues to grow, HarvestCall is seeking a full-time missionary or missionary couple to live on and assist in the efforts at Good Vision Farm in Torbeck, Haiti. Desired skill sets for this position include: Strong leadership and communication skills to share the gospel, willingness to teach local Haitians, and promote the Dairy program in the local region. Desire to minister to the Haitians by learning the Creole language and growing in their understanding of Haitian culture. While a farming background is not essential, the ability to work with your hands and grow in this area will be needed. This role has housing provided on site at the Dairy Farm located in the Torbek region of South Haiti. Candidates should be a member in good standing with the Apostolic Christian Church and be willing to reside in Haiti for a minimum of 4 years. Mechanic- Les Cayes, Haiti The Missionary Team at Les Cayes, Haiti is currently seeking candidates for missionary service as a mechanic. The mechanic would support the HarvestCall Construction, Well Drilling, Dairy, and Hospital Lumiere projects. Candidates should have good knowledge of mechanics on average vehicles as well as tractors and other diesel-powered equipment. They will be responsible to help maintain the vehicles, generators, and construction equipment at Cite Lumiere and Bonne Finn, Haiti. They will help oversee ordering, purchasing, and maintaining inventory of parts to support our programs in southern Haiti. There will be opportunities to participate on construction teams if a mechanic is desired during travel to project sites. This position would also involve training and mentoring a Haitian assistant to provide future mechanical maintenance. In order to be an effective disciple, it is the expectation of this missionary to learn the Haitian language and become familiar with Haitian culture. Assistance for language training will be provided. The applicant must be a member in good standing within the Apostolic Christian Church and willing to reside in Les Cayes for a minimum of 3 years.
